Classic async timing issue. Think of it like ordering coffee — you place the order (call the API) but the coffee isn't ready yet. Your code is trying to drink it before it's brewed. You need await to make JavaScript wait. Since you learn by doing — want me to show you exactly where to add it in your code?

Got it. Line 12 — add const data = await response.json(); instead of response.json(). You also need async on your function on line 8. Those two changes fix it.
